Private Quirky Tour of Reykjavik

65.00

Reykjavik is a tiny, weird and wonderful city that you definitely want a local to take you around. And guess what - we do!! Our Reykjavik native isn't going to going to bore us with historical facts or museum after museum. She will rather take you to her own favourite places in the city centre, teach us a few words of Icelandic, lead us to colourful murals in hidden lanes and point out the best restaurants and bars to enjoy later in the day. This is a great tour to get an overview and orientation in the city.

This is not your typical run-of-the-mill walking tour. Reykjavík’s charm is not about big landmarks and must-see tourists spots, although it can be nice to see those too. To us it’s about the friendly people, atmospheric bars and cafes and all charming little details.

On the tour, you will see important landmarks such as Hallgrímskirkja church, Harpa music hall and the House of Parliament but you will also meet friendly cats, see amazing murals and learn about what makes Reykjavík so special.

While you are free to have lunch anywhere you choose after the tour, we have reserved a spot for all of us at the highly rated, but affordable, locally recommended Icelandic seafood restaurant Messinn Granda
