We’re bidding farewell to summer… in Montenegro, a place that has been top of G&T’s list for many years. We were incredibly lucky to stumble upon this waterfront gem in Ljuta, set right on the Adriatic, where we’ll spend our days sunning ourselves on loungers. Kotor (only 5 minutes down the road) is the medieval town you’ve been reading about everywhere, set in a bay with spectacular views of the Adriatic, and we’ll be taking a private tour to discover its history and secrets.

Montenegro is going to be one of our most adventurous weekends yet with white water rafting down the Tara River. We love a sunset viewed from the helm of a yacht here at G&T, and we can’t wait to be toasting as the sun sets from our private yacht tour of the Bay of Tivat and Kotor.

It’s happening… we’re expanding and headed across the sea to North America for our first G&T Weekends in North America!

Billed by CN Traveller as “Canada’s Coolest Island Hangout”, Prince Edward County is the place to be right now in Canada. We were incredibly excited when we stumbled upon PEC’s best kept secret: the ultimate glamour meets farm experience.

We will be staying on a completely self-sustaining farm set on 58 acres, on the beach, and with 20 wineries within a 10km radius. We’ll be visiting said wineries via bicycle during the day, as well as getting back to basics and our hands a little dirty with the farm’s workshops on offer. We’ll have opportunities to explore workshops on jamming, smoking fish, brewing our own beer, or pickling (we hear it’s the new bee-keeping).

We’re massive foodies here at G&T, and we cannot wait for our farm-to-table meals, made with ingredients fresh from the farm and cooked for us by an award-winning chef.

Exhausted after a day of fresh air? You’ll be retiring to your “tent-suite” – a luxury tent complete with hardwood floors, king sized bed (with Egyptian cotton sheets, naturally), hot outdoor shower, toilet and sitting area. You can tell your friends you’re “camping”, we promise not to let your luxury secret out of the bag….

Christmas Party in a Norfolk Mansion

G&T Weekends originated with a country party in the English Countryside, so we are over the moon to be heading back to our birthplace in a new and improved venue. We love a country party and this particular venue has been in our sights for three years now. Filled with Pop Art and Rock ‘n Roll memorabilia (the owner was part of the Stones entourage), this Arts & Crafts style Edwardian mansion has all the trappings of an incredible weekend.

We’re going to do some of our favourite activities long country walks through the gorgeous countryside, clay pigeon shooting and an incredible long roast lunch. What’s a Christmas party without mulled wine and some caroling? We’ll be making use of the Baby Grand before heading into the evening of revelry you’ve come to expect with G&T…

Blue Lagoon recovery day

Blue Lagoon recovery day

We’re doing it again… Iceland was one of the highlights of our incredible 2016 year, so we’re heading back for more! Our stunning lodge has been renovated and now includes an indoor fireplace (the only thing missing to make this place perfect!). The house has hosted many notables, including Justin Bieber on his tour of Iceland. If it’s good enough for the Biebs we know it’s good enough for G&T!

We’re going to hit all our favourite Icelandic adventures with an afternoon in the Blue Lagoon, Northern Lights viewings and plenty of hot tub sessions in the snow. This year we’re adding a special feature of dog sledding through the snowy Icelandic back country. We can’t wait to ring in the New Year in style again!
